Join Little Leander Swim School, organised by Plymouth Leander! Operating from Plymouth College and Marjon University, both with top-tier 25-metre pools, we're here to guide your child's swimming journey from the very start to club level.

At Little Leander, swimming is more than a skill—it's a life-saver. From beginner classes focusing on water safety and basic strokes to improver classes sharpening the four main strokes and techniques, we've got it covered. Our squad classes perfect strokes with an emphasis on starts, turns, stamina, and fitness.

Our instructors ensure every child progresses at their own pace, moving up levels only when ready. Group lessons are 30 minutes with small class sizes—four swimmers in Beginner 1 and six in other stages—ensuring personal attention and support.

For a more tailored experience, we offer 1:1 private lessons, either 15 or 30 minutes. The shorter sessions are perfect for ages 3-5, while older children can opt for the longer duration.

To find the right level for your child, use our handy flow chart. It ensures your child moves up only when they've mastered the necessary skills. We celebrate progress with certificates for each of the six stages, marking key milestones from Beginner 1 to Squad.
