Little Hidden Farm Riding School is located in the picturesque countryside of West Berkshire, situated between Hungerford and the M4. This charming equestrian centre spans 150 acres and is dedicated to the horses that form the Little Hidden Farm family. The riding school prides itself on being a relaxed and inclusive environment, welcoming individuals of all ages and experience levels who share a passion for riding.
The farm has retained its natural and rustic charm, a testament to the vision of owners Sue and Bill Acworth. Over the years, the knowledge, and expertise of yard manager Nakita Donelan have helped the business grow and prosper. With over 15 years of riding and horse care experience, Nakita brings a wealth of professionalism, dedication, and love for the farm.
Little Hidden Farm offers a diverse selection of horses, ranging from enthusiastic young horses to seasoned school masters. The aim is to match each rider with a horse that suits their abilities and experience. In keeping with their natural ethos, the horses enjoy 24/7 turnout in spacious paddocks across the farm.
At Little Hidden Farm, they strongly believe in providing everyone with the opportunity to experience the transformative power of horse riding. The qualified staff ensure that riders of all levels are paired with suitable mounts and placed in groups of similar abilities. The safety and welfare of both horse and rider are of utmost importance.
It is important to note that the weight limit for riders is 100 kg, fully clothed in outdoor shoes and riding hat. This is to ensure the welfare of the horses. Clients exceeding the weight limit will not be permitted to ride.
Little Hidden Farm offers a variety of lessons and activities to cater to individual preferences. They provide group lessons ranging from half an hour to two hours, as well as private and semi-private lessons. For those seeking a more personalised experience, lessons with Nakita Donelan, the yard manager and AI Level instructor, are available.
In addition to lessons, Little Hidden Farm offers a range of events and activities. Pony days, stable management courses, riding clinics, summer camps, and pony parties are among the options available. It is significant to ensure that riders have helmets that meet the proper safety standards (PAS 015:2011).
Little Hidden Farm Riding School extends an open invitation to everyone who wishes to join their community and share in their passion for all things equestrian. Whether one is a seasoned rider or taking their first steps into the world of horse riding, Little Hidden Farm is ready to help individuals achieve their equestrian dreams.
