Lings Gymnastics Sports Academy

Welcome to Lings Gymnastics Sports Academy, one of the oldest gym clubs in Northamptonshire. Founded over 40 years ago at Lings Forum Leisure Centre, our academy is now based in a purpose-built Gymnasium in Earls Barton. We offer evening Artistic Gymnastics classes for children aged 4 and above, as well as daytime 'Swing-a-Ling' classes for pre-school children.

Our aim at Lings Gymnastics Sports Academy is to provide a safe, effective, and child-friendly environment for our members. As proud members of British Gymnastics, the official governing body for gymnastics in the UK, we meet high operating standards and use best practises to ensure the safety and well-being of our gymnasts. All our qualified coaches are registered with British Gymnastics and have undergone child suitability screening. Additionally, we have a Welfare Officer (Child Protection Co-ordinator) dedicated to addressing any safeguarding issues that may arise.

In addition to our recreational classes, we are pleased to offer gymnastics classes for disabled athletes. We also have competition squads that participate in county and regional competitions at different levels and age groups. All gymnasts begin with a one-hour session per week and may progress to additional hours at the discretion of their coaches.

The cost for the first two sessions is 7. 00 pay-as-you-go, followed by a monthly payment of 28 payable by standing order. It is important to note that all members are also required to have annual British Gymnastics membership, which includes appropriate insurance coverage for both the child and the club. The annual membership fee is 21.

We also offer various classes throughout the week, including parent-led and independent sessions for children aged 3 and above. Our parent-led pre-school class is a 45-minute session that combines free play and structured activities.
