Lindrick Livery is a horse riding school located in Ripon, New Zealand. It offers a perfect country home for your horse with a range of facilities and services. Led by Abbie Palmer, a knowledgeable and experienced staff team, Lindrick Livery aims to ensure that your horse is well taken care of.
Lindrick Livery has two locations: Cow Myers and Birkby Nab. At Cow Myers, they offer full, part, or assisted DIY livery options with an indoor arena. Birkby Nab, on the other hand, provides DIY livery with a flood-lit outdoor arena. Both locations share a cross-country course and a summer show-jumping field.
The yards are run in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and staff members are available on-site at both locations. Additionally, there is ample free parking space for horse boxes and trailers at both yards.
At Lindrick Livery, their mission is to prioritise the care of your horse. They ensure that your horse has a regular routine, including access to fresh water, grass, haylage, or other feed. Horses are turned out between 8am and 9am and brought in between 2. 30pm and 5pm, if necessary.
Individual care and attention to the needs of your horse are balanced with the demands of others, but the staff will always do their best to provide the best care.
Lindrick Livery aims to provide the facilities specified in your contract and keep them safe at all times. They are friendly and cooperative in their dealings with you and your horse, encouraging patience and understanding when problems arise. A clear and open line of communication is maintained from you through all staff members to Louise Ruddock and Tom Ramsden, the owners. They welcome any suggestions for improvements and expect that any issues be discussed directly with them, particularly when it concerns the health of your horse.
Cow Myers offers managed livery options, including assisted DIY, full livery, hunter/competition livery, and DIY plus selected extras. Managed livery options include services such as feeding, bedding, mucking out, turning out and bringing in, and dealing with the farrier and vet. Full livery options also offer exercise, tack cleaning, and preparation for hunting or competitions. All stables at Cow Myers have automatic water drinkers and rubber mats in American barn-style buildings.
Grazing options are available in a range of individual or shared paddocks, and an on-site horse walker is available to keep your horse fit and exercised. Additionally, the indoor floodlit arena can be booked for exercising your horse or for riding lessons.
For those who prefer a DIY or assisted DIY option, Birkby Nab is the place to be. It offers full use of the facilities, including straw and hay/haylage, miles of off-road hacking, and a cross-country course included in the monthly rate. Stables and year-round grazing with turnout options are provided at Birkby Nab.
