Limerick Lions Basketball Club, located in Limerick, is a passionate and dedicated sports club with a rich history dating back to its founding in 2004. The club is run by a group of committed volunteers who work tirelessly at committee, coaching, and management levels to ensure the success and development of all its members.

The club has a proven track record of producing high-level players, with numerous members currently part of Regional Academies, Irish Squads, Irish Teams, and even American College Scholarship Recipients.

Limerick Lions pride themselves on being the home of Limerick's only European Championship medal and actively participate in various competitions at different levels, including North Munster Area Competitions at U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, and Senior Mens levels, Cork Area Competitions at U18 and U20 levels, and Basketball Ireland U20 National League.

The clubs dedicated coaches, including Tommy Walsh, Matt Hall, Trevore Moore, Brendan Kelly, Paul Horkan, Harry Coyne, Bobby Price, Jakub Czuba, and Jason Barry, work hard to support and guide their players to success both on and off the court.
