The British Council For Chinese Martial Arts is excited to announce the Level 2 National Governing Body (NGB) training course coming up on the 23rd of June 2024. This virtual classroom event is perfect for coaches looking to take their skills to the next level or move up from assistant coach to coach.
If you've got at least 3 years of martial arts practice under your belt and are ready to teach independently, this course is for you. The training covers a wide range of important topics such as legal requirements of coaching, health and safety considerations, 'duty of care' to participants, hydration, stretching, injuries, coaching plans, and people development.
Participants will also learn about the roles & responsibilities of a coach, safe training practices, planning coaching sessions for different levels, and administrative legal requirements. To complete the course, attendees will need to join an online session and submit a 10-minute video of them teaching Chinese martial arts to a group of students for assessment.
Certificates will be issued after the teaching videos have been reviewed, so make sure to mark your calendars for this event. Keep an eye on your email 5 days prior to the course date for registration details. And don't forget to have Zoom installed on a device with a working camera and microphone for an interactive learning experience. Before signing up for the course, be sure to confirm your BCCMA membership.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to level up your coaching skills with The British Council For Chinese Martial Arts!
