Are you the owner of Lesley Snowdon Personal Trainer?

The concept of Health at Every Size (HAES), which promotes body positivity and encourages people to pursue health and well-being regardless of their size or weight. This approach aligns perfectly with my philosophy of helping clients develop a healthy relationship with exercise, food, and their bodies.
As a personal trainer, Lesley Snowdon understands that each individual is unique and has different needs and goals. She takes into consideration factors such as age, gender, interests, and personal support network when designing a fitness programme. Lesley believes in the principles of progression and ensures that her clients not only follow the principles of progressive overload but also have alternatives to keep their workouts interesting and enjoyable.
One of Lesley's specialities is weight management and nutrition. She understands that there are many diets that promise quick fixes, but her approach is focused on designing personalised healthy eating plans that fit around her clients' lifestyles. She believes that low-calorie diets can actually make us gain fat and works with her clients to develop sustainable and nourishing eating habits.
Lesley also has extensive experience working with older adults. For the past 31 years, she has been dedicated to helping this age group achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall quality of life. Whether it's training for a marathon, keeping up with grandchildren, or simply being able to perform everyday tasks with ease, Lesley designs fitness programmes that are tailored to the unique needs and abilities of older adults.
With a career spanning thirty years in the fitness industry, Lesley has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is not just a personal trainer, but also holds qualifications in nutrition, stability ball, yoga, and an advanced level personal training diploma. Her client base is diverse, ranging from marathon runners to individuals with heart conditions, joint problems, obesity, and diabetes-related issues. She has even had the privilege of training a Team GB Paralympic blind footballer.
Lesley's approach goes beyond physical fitness. She recognises the importance of mental and emotional well-being in achieving overall health and resilience. She has witnessed firsthand how anxiety, stress, and depression can impact a person's ability to heal mentally and physically. With this in mind, Lesley completed a Person-centred Psychotherapy Diploma to further support her clients in addressing the underlying mental and emotional barriers that may hinder their progress.
Lesley Snowdon is passionate about helping her clients develop a healthier relationship with exercise, food, and themselves. Through her personalised approach, she empowers individuals to embrace a positive mindset and make sustainable lifestyle changes. Lesley believes that it's never too late to prioritise one's health and is committed to guiding her clients on their journey towards improved fitness and well-being.
