Leroy Leisureland Regional Park

Nestled among 70 acres of rolling land with a natural running creek, Leroy Leisureland Regional Park is the perfect destination for a family getaway. Located just 4 miles west of the Town of Leroy, the park boasts a man-made sand-bottomed swimming pool with a slide (swimming lessons available), as well as a large sandy beach surrounding it. Visitors can enjoy washrooms, showers, a playground, and a beach volleyball court.

For golf enthusiasts, Leroy Leisureland offers an amazing nine-hole grass green golf course where players have to cross the creek on 6 out of 9 holes. Golfers of all levels are welcome to play, including beginners and children. The park also features 34 campsites with 30-amp power and RO water, firewood available for purchase, individual and group fire pits, and picnic tables.

The park has a rich history, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Established as a regional park in 1972, Leroy Leisureland is the result of extraordinary community effort that began in the 1960s by the local Kinsmen. The park has grown over the years, with additions such as the clubhouse, concession stand, and upgrades to the golf course.

Amenities in the surrounding area include a grocery store, gas and propane services, car repair shops, ball diamonds, a museum, mural, sitting area, and a full-service Credit Union with an ATM in Leroy. The park is wheelchair accessible, with one wheelchair-accessible washroom in the clubhouse.

Guests must be 19 years or older to rent campsites and are required to leash their dogs at all times. Dogs are not allowed at the swimming pool. Firewood is available for purchase at $13. 00 per bag.
