Alan and Diane from LeRoc Wirral want to extend a warm invitation to the sports community. Located in Wallasey, they’ve created a vibrant dance space for modern jive enthusiasts to gather and enjoy the dance.
The Grosvenor Ballroom, where classes are held, has a large 245 square metre ballroom floor. It can comfortably hold up to 300 people and includes access to a bar and buffet room. The dance floor, made with original maple boards, enhances the dancing experience. An in-house sound and lighting system ensures a lively atmosphere for everyone.
Alan and Diane offer modern jive lessons for all skill levels every Thursday night at Grosvenor Ballroom. Diane, who is qualified by the LeRoc Federation, leads the classes to maintain high standards of instruction. These sessions are a great way for dancers to improve their skills while having fun.
Everyone aged 18 and over is welcome to join, no partner necessary. The classes are rotated regularly so dancers can mix and meet new people. It's a fantastic way to keep fit, enjoy yourself, and make new friends.
Evenings at LeRoc Wirral start with a beginner lesson for about 30–40 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of freestyle dancing to practice new moves. Then, an intermediate lesson takes place, and the rest of the night is free dancing until 11:00 pm.
For convenience, the venue offers ample free car parking both adjacent to the premises and nearby. The schedule is as follows: every Thursday from 20:00 to 23:00 at the Grosvenor Ballroom, Grosvenor Street, Wallasey, CH44 1AQ. Doors open at 19:45, with beginners' classes from 20:00 to 20:30, intermediate from 21:15 to 21:45, and closing at 23:30.
