Lenka Pilates Bicester is a Pilates studio located in Bicester, New Zealand. Led by Lenka, a passionate and dedicated Pilates instructor with over 15 years of experience, the studio offers a variety of classes in matwork and small equipment.

Lenka's journey with Pilates began in 2003 when she attended a class at her local sports centre. Drawn to the slow pace and precise movements, she quickly discovered the benefits of Pilates for her own body. Dealing with underlying issues from a childhood injury, Lenka found that Pilates helped to strengthen her core muscles and alleviate pain in her lower back, shoulders, and jaw.

Motivated by her personal experience and a desire to deepen her understanding of this intelligent form of exercise, Lenka became a qualified Pilates instructor. She also achieved additional qualifications in Exercise to music, Aqua Aerobics, Body Jam, and Body Balance. Lenka began working for various leisure centres and health clubs in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire before establishing her own business and focusing solely on teaching Pilates.

Lenka's client base quickly grew to over a hundred regular customers, ranging from teenagers to people in their 80s. Her clients come from all walks of life, including office workers, builders, members of the clergy, gardeners, teachers, nurses, doctors, athletes, and even an ex-England national football team captain. With a wide range of clients with different conditions and backgrounds, Lenka is able to tailor her sessions to meet individual needs and witness the positive effects Pilates has on their bodies and minds.

Beyond her personal journey and the success of her clients, Lenka's own experiences with Pilates have been transformative. Pilates played a significant role in her three pregnancies and labours, enabling her to stay in control of her body and give birth naturally and without pain relief.

While raising her three children keeps her busy, Lenka remains committed to her own growth as a Pilates instructor. She actively seeks opportunities to improve her skills through teaching and learning, attending workshops, conferences, and festivals both in the UK and abroad.

Lenka looks forward to getting to know each client, discussing their goals, and guiding them towards their desired outcomes.
