The age and ability level of the student. Our classes are structured to provide a solid foundation in dance technique while also allowing for creativity and self-expression.
In our ballet classes, students learn the fundamental techniques of classical ballet, including posture, alignment, turnout, and musicality. Our RAD qualified teachers ensure that students are properly trained and guided through the RAD syllabus, allowing them the opportunity to take RAD gradings and progress in their ballet journey.
For those interested in tap and modern dance, we offer dynamic and energetic classes that focus on rhythm, coordination, and movement. Students learn various tap and modern dance styles, including Broadway tap, rhythm tap, and contemporary modern, and have the opportunity to perform in our dance shows.
In addition to dance classes, we also offer singing and acting lessons. Our qualified LAMDA teacher follows the LAMDA syllabus for acting, providing students with the skills and confidence to express themselves on stage. Singing lessons focus on vocal technique, breath control, and musicality, allowing students to develop their singing abilities and perform confidently.
At Leigh-Anne Campbell's School of Dance, we believe in creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where students can grow and thrive. Our teaching team is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a love and appreciation for dance and the performing arts. All of our teachers are DBS checked and our school is GDPR-compliant to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
Whether your child is a beginner or an aspiring professional dancer, we have lessons suited to their needs. We offer a first trial ballet class for free, giving students the opportunity to experience the joy of dance before committing to regular classes. Our classes take place in various locations in Rugby, Warwickshire, including schools and community halls, making it convenient for families in the area.
For uniform requirements, we follow the guidelines set by the RAD, and uniforms can be purchased through our brand new online shop, the LACSD Uniform Shop.
