Lee Johnson is a highly experienced and skilled golf instructor based in East Horsley, Surrey. With over 45 years of experience in the golf industry, Lee has helped thousands of golfers of all ages and abilities improve their game and find greater enjoyment on the course.

Having played golf since the age of four and being capped for Scotland at the U18 level in 1972, Lee's passion for the game shines through in his teaching. He obtained his PGA qualifications in 1976 and went on to serve as a head golf club professional from 1977 to 2004. During this time, he also served as the head junior coach for Surrey from 1987 to 2004.

In 2004, Lee established the 'Lee Johnson Golf Academy' at the Drift Golf Club, providing a dedicated learning environment for golfers of all levels. He was awarded 'Fellow' status by the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) in 2005, a recognition of his outstanding contributions to the golfing community.

Lee's teaching philosophy centres around providing the best possible tuition to his students. At the Drift Golf Club, Lee utilises the covered mats, grass teaching tee (in the summer), and short game area to create a well-rounded and effective learning experience. The Drift Golf Club, located in East Horsley, Surrey, is conveniently situated just 4 miles from the M25 junction 10 and is within 10 miles of Kingston and Guildford.
