Le Club de cano kayak de Pointe-Claire is a renowned non-profit organization that was founded on February 15, 1989, in accordance with Part III of the Quebec Companies Act. The Club was established thanks to the vision and initiative of Jean Fournel, Bill Cordner, Gaetan Desmarais, along with Maurice Lamoureux and Tom Dienstmann who are the official founding members and the very first executive committee. In November 1991, the Club adopted its official Rules and Regulations, copies of which are available upon request.
