At Lecht Ski School, visitors can learn to ski or snowboard with qualified instructors. The ski school offers private or class lessons daily, with packages to suit every budget and skill level. Whether you're a beginner or want to improve your technique, the instructors at Lecht Ski School provide the highest standard of ski and snowboard instruction. Young children can also enjoy riglet snowboarding instruction.

In addition to individual lessons, Lecht Ski School also caters to schools and groups. They have various active schools sessions running throughout the season, offering a fun and educational experience for students.

The Beginner Packages at Lecht Ski School are a great way to get started. The price includes a limited area lift pass for the day, equipment hire, and 2 hours of instruction. Classes start at 10:30 am and 1 pm, and prices vary for adults, juniors, and children.

For those who prefer private lessons, Lecht Ski School offers one-on-one instruction. The price does not include equipment hire or lift pass. Private lessons are available for individuals, as well as couples or small groups.

Class lessons are also available at Lecht Ski School. These 2-hour group lessons are a more affordable option for those who want to learn in a group setting. The price includes instruction only, and participants are responsible for providing their own equipment and lift pass.

Lecht Ski School is located at The Lecht Ski Centre, which is situated on the A939 between Cockbridge and Tomintoul. The ski centre has been operating since the mid-1970s and is the smallest of the 5 ski centres in Scotland. Despite its size, it offers a range of exciting outdoor activities for both the summer and winter seasons.

The Lecht Activity Centre is based 2090 feet (645m) above sea level, offering stunning views of the surrounding Eastern Cairngorms. The centre is situated in the heart of Scotland's largest National Park and is known for its ability to attract and hold snow, making it an ideal destination for beginners.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, visitors can also enjoy a trip on the Chairlift at The Lecht, where they can take in the beautiful views. The centre also offers equipment hire, weather updates, webcams, and a piste map to help visitors plan their day on the slopes.

The opening times of The Lecht Ski Centre vary depending on the season. During winter, the ski lifts start to open at 8:30 am and the last run is around 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
