Lea Valley Karate Academy, located in central Hertfordshire and Essex, has been operating since 2004 under the expert guidance of Sensei Daniel Hollister, a former Senior England International with a 4th Dan Black Belt. The academy is proud to specialise in teaching traditional karate to the highest standards.

Lea Valley Karate Academy takes the safeguarding of children and vulnerable individuals very seriously. The academy has been awarded the “safeguarding code in martial arts” certification, supported by Sport England. This certification acknowledges the academy's commitment to upholding the highest safeguarding standards and ensuring the welfare of all students.
The academy follows the guidance provided by the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) and the English Karate Federation requirements. All instructors and coaches complete the necessary child protection courses as part of their training, with refresher safeguarding training conducted every two years.
