Swimtime Stockport, a swimming club based in Cheadle, is excited to announce their upcoming swimming event, 'Learning to Swim Swimming with Sabina Stingray.' This program is designed to help children broaden their swimming skills and become confident swimmers.
During Stage 1 of the program, participants will learn a variety of important swimming techniques. These include warm-up exercises, arm, and leg action for front crawl and back crawl, breaststroke and butterfly techniques, as well as individual starts, turns, and finishes. Additionally, children will be taught submerging and diving practices, non-contact rescue techniques, casualty care techniques, and how to effectively use swimming equipment. Water safety and aquatic education are also emphasised throughout Stage 1.
Moving on to Stage 2, participants will continue developing their swimming abilities through further practice and instruction. They will build upon the skills learned in Stage 1, concentrating on warm-up exercises, front crawl and back crawl techniques, breaststroke, and butterfly strokes. Furthermore, they will gain additional skills and techniques related to survival, rescue, and water safety. The goal of Stage 2 is to make children competent swimmers who feel confident in a variety of aquatic environments.
Unfortunately, the cost and address for this program are not available at this time. However, please stay tuned for updates as Swimtime Stockport will provide this information as soon as possible.
