In Stage 1, participants will learn all the essential swimming skills to get them gliding through the water with confidence. Whether it's warming up those muscles with some energising exercises or mastering arm and leg movements in front crawl and back crawl, we'll have you swimming like a pro in no time! We'll also be covering breaststroke, butterfly, individual starts/turns, and finishing techniques. Safety is our top priority, so we'll also introduce lifesaving strokes and water safety practices to ensure you feel secure in the water.
Stage 2 takes things up a notch with advanced skills that will have you swimming circles around the competition. Get ready to propel yourself through the water with alternating arm and leg movements in front crawl and back crawl. We'll also be honing your breaststroke technique with simultaneous arm and leg movements. And for those times when a fellow swimmer needs a helping hand, we'll teach you some non-contact rescue techniques that could save the day.
