Splashers Swim School - Caringbah, a swimming club in Sydney, is excited to promote a local swimming event! Learn to swim with the Splashers Swim School program offered at Sutherland and Caringbah Leisure Centres. It's all about teaching children and adults the vital life skill of swimming.
Enrolling in our program is a breeze. The best part? It rolls over to the following term, so no need to re-enrol each term! Just a heads up, if you wish to stop swimming lessons at the end of the term, make sure to provide us with 30 days' notice via email.
Are you worried about the cost? No worries at all! Splashers Swim School accepts First Lap and Active Kids vouchers, making it even more accessible to everyone.
Our Swim School operates during the term dates in 2024, starting from Monday, January 29, 2024, to Sunday, April 14, 2024. But remember, there are no classes on public holidays. We also have term breaks in between the dates: Monday, April 29, 2024, to Sunday, July 7, 2024; Monday, July 22, 2024, to Sunday, September 29, 2024; and Monday, October 14, 2024, to Sunday, December 22, 2024.
But wait, there's more! Splashers Swim School also offers School Holiday Intensive Programs. These programs are held during specific weeks in January, April, July, and October. Just keep in mind that there are no classes on public holidays during these weeks.

At Splashers Swim School, we cater to different levels based on the swimming ability of our students. Let's break it down for you:
- Nursery (6 months – 13 months): Parents/carers are active participants in these sessions, focusing on water awareness and confidence.
- Advanced Nursery (13 months – 3 years): Parents/carers join in on the fun, emphasising water awareness and confidence.
- Frys: We build confidence, water safety, and water familiarisation here. Children will learn to float, do a torpedo dive, and dog paddle independently.
- Eels: These children are comfortable in the water, capable of floating and dog paddling independently. They will be taught freestyle arms and kick on their back.
- Duck: Kids with good coordination of arms and legs will learn basic freestyle. We'll introduce and reinforce two-stroke breathing and backstroke arm techniques.
- Crayfish: In this level, we strengthen the freestyle stroke, introduce bilateral breathing and backstroke arm and leg techniques, and even kickstart breaststroke.
- Bluebottles: If a child has the strength and stamina to swim backstroke and freestyle with bilateral breathing, they'll love this level. We'll focus on technique, body position, and further strengthen their breaststroke kick.
- Angelfish: An Angelfish child is capable of swimming 25 meters in both freestyle and backstroke. Furthermore, we'll work on endurance and stroke correction to improve their swimming skills. Once they complete this level, they are eligible to join Sutherland Leisure Centre's Development Squad Program.
