Cockburn Ice Arena invites interested skaters to join the Learn To Skate program, a perfect starting point for those eager to kickstart their skating journey. Geared towards skaters aged 3 and 4, this class requires the presence of an adult to accompany each child during the lesson for added safety.
To ensure a safe environment, it is highly recommended for all participants to wear helmets while on the ice. Skaters under the age of 3 are not eligible for enrollment in this program. Before signing up, beginners are encouraged to attend at least one general session to get a feel for the ice, be able to move off the barrier unassisted, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Please note that refunds will not be provided if a skater decides not to continue with the lessons for the term. All pertinent class details, such as timing and coach information, will be shared via email a couple of days prior to the first lesson. At the successful completion of levels, participants will receive a certificate via email at the end of the term.
