It's designed to teach you the art of throwing and defending punches, all while improving your overall fitness. You'll learn all the basic punches including the jab, cross, hook, uppercuts, and body shots. And hey, we'll even teach you essential defence techniques like holding a strong guard, blocking punches, and evading those tricky manoeuvres.

But it doesn't stop there! We'll also focus on footwork and stance, because let's face it – they're crucial elements of boxing. By the end of the course, you'll be moving around that ring with the grace and precision of a pro!

Once you've completed the Boxing Basics Course, you'll have the option to become a Member of Port O' Leith Boxing Club. As a member, you'll have full access to our timetable, allowing you to join our various training sessions and continue honing your boxing skills. You'll also gain access to our state-of-the-art facilities located at Unit 3, 83 Craighall Road, Edinburgh EH6 4RR.
