Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, these bootcamps offer valuable insights and techniques to enhance your running experience.
Lazy Running Bootcamps consist of four sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of running. The great thing is, you can choose to attend one, two, three, or even all four sessions, depending on your availability and interests. Each session is priced at $20 per person, or you have the option to attend the entire bootcamp for just $50 per person.
In Session 1, 'Know your Running Pace', participants will dive into discovering their ideal running pace. It's suitable for runners who can comfortably tackle a 5 km or more, regardless of their pace. By the end of this session, you'll have a clearer understanding of your own pace and receive specific figures to guide your future runs.
Moving on to Session 2, 'Run Right', this session focuses on the fundamentals of running posture and technique. Whether you're an experienced or a non-runner, this session is suitable for everyone. By fixing small missteps in your running form, you'll notice that running becomes not only easier but also more enjoyable.
In Session 3, 'Running Stretches and Recovery', you'll be introduced to effective stretching techniques tailored specifically for runners. Additionally, you'll learn and practice PNF stretching, which can tremendously improve your flexibility. It's advisable to wear warm gear and bring along a yoga or exercise mat for added comfort.
Lastly, Session 4, 'Running Aches/Pains and Injuries and Running 101', addresses common running-related issues, such as aches, pains, and injuries. Led by an experienced runner who has remained injury-free for an impressive 27 years, this session provides invaluable tips on injury prevention and methods to treat minor discomforts. It's also an ideal chance to interact with a knowledgeable running coach and gain insights from their expertise.
Lazy Running Bootcamps will be held in various locations, including Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. However, if you have a group of running enthusiasts, the coach can even come to your own designated location. Prices for the bootcamp sessions are as follows: Full Bootcamp – $50.00 AUD, Session 1 – $20.00 AUD, Session 2 – $20.00 AUD, Session 3 – $20.00 AUD, and Session 4 – $20.00 AUD.
