Originally built in 1926 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the course was redesigned by Canadian Architect Thomas McBroom, creating contoured, tree-lined fairways that are easy to walk.

The dining lounge features spectacular views of the golf course through its glassed walls, and the menu includes a wide range of items such as homemade soup, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, and items for sharing.
In addition to golfing, Langara Golf Course also offers golf lessons for individuals looking to improve their game. The course recently completed a drainage project, installing 83,000 meters of drainage pipe to ensure better playing conditions throughout the year, making it the driest golf course in the Lower Mainland.
