Emily's passion for movement began at a young age through dance, and she was first introduced to yoga by her ballet teacher. Despite initially finding yoga slow-paced, Emily continued to attend classes and eventually discovered a deep connection to the practice.

After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in India in 2016, Emily returned in 2020 to complete her 300-hour training. Her journey to India was a transformative experience, where she faced challenges and learned the importance of growth and self-care. Emily's teaching style reflects this journey, as she aims to inspire her students to explore their personal practices and learn from each movement.
