La Cupa

Lucania Natura Verticale is a rock climbing club nestled in the heart of Potenza, where the rugged cliffs and untouched nature of Basilicata come together to create the perfect playing ground for climbers of all skill levels. Our club, affiliated with the Italian Sport Climbing Federation, offers a welcoming community where climbers can challenge themselves on both natural rock formations and artificial structures.

Our climbing gym, La Cupa, located within the Community Pool in the Montereale Park, provides a safe and dynamic environment for climbers to practice their skills. With walls reaching up to 3.50 meters in height and gradients ranging from gentle slabs to intense overhangs, La Cupa boasts a boulder area of approximately 70 square meters and a roped climbing space of 36 square meters.

From September to June, our doors are open to enthusiasts looking to train and perfect their climbing techniques from Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We also offer climbing courses for adults looking to embark on their climbing journey or improve their existing skills.
