Kuring-Gai Motor Yacht Club (KMYC) is a traditional family club located in the scenic Cottage Point, within the picturesque Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Situated at the junction of Cowan Creek and Coal and Candle Creek, just 45 minutes away from Sydney CBD, KMYC offers a peaceful and idyllic setting for boating enthusiasts.

Established in 1945, KMYC welcomes new members and guests who have a passion for boating and enjoy relaxing with friends. Our club has a diverse range of vessels, from traditional wooden cruisers to the latest motor cruisers and yachts, catering to a variety of boating preferences.

The club boasts exceptional facilities and breathtaking surroundings. Situated along Coal and Candle Creek, our grounds, including the Coal & Candle Cottage, are a hidden gem. Our facilities are perfect for hosting special events such as weddings, private functions, corporate days, and even secluded holidays. It's hard to find a venue as unique as ours, so close to Sydney city.

Membership at KMYC is open to everyone who enjoys boating. We offer various categories to meet different needs, whether you are a boat owner or someone who enjoys being part of a boating community. Boat owners can join as Members or Remote Members depending on their residence and mooring requirements. We also have Family Crew, Crew, and Junior memberships available.

Located in the midst of some of the best boating waterways in NSW, KMYC serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the Coal and Candle, Smiths Creek, and Hawkesbury River systems. Our club offers cost-effective swing moorings with tender service, allowing our members to enjoy hassle-free boating experiences. Our waterfront facility provides ample spaces for social activities, including BBQ facilities, creating opportunities to meet like-minded individuals with similar interests.
