Boardriders - SUP Wales is a surf school located in Machynlleth, North West Wales. They specialise in providing kite surfing and stand up paddleboarding (SUP) lessons and experiences.
With over 30 years of experience in board riding, the owner, Shem, takes the selection of boards very seriously. They stock a range of boards from two core brands – Red Paddle Co inflatable boards and Starboard Stand-up Paddle boards. Customers are encouraged to come and try out the boards before making a purchase.
Inflatable stand-up paddle boards are a popular option as they offer high performance and durability, combined with easy storage and travel. They are great for flat water performance and surfing smaller waves. Solid boards, on the other hand, offer better performance in the surf and are recommended for those who prioritise surfing. However, they can be tricky to store, so customers are advised to ensure that they have enough space before purchasing a solid board.
KSW Boardriders also offers a next day delivery service for board and paddle sales. They have a selection of second-hand and ex-demo boards available, in addition to new boards. Customers can contact them for the latest stock of second-hand stand-up paddle surf boards.
In addition to their board shop, KSW Boardriders also provides guided SUP sessions and SUP tuition lessons starting in March in Aberdyfi. Dolphins are known to join the sessions in October in Borth. They invite customers to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to stay updated on their activities.
