Expertise of the FEKM. The club is run by Petri Lahdemaki, a qualified FEKM 2nd Darga Black Belt Instructor. With a team of five skilled trainers, the club has already trained 667 people and has 39 registered members.
The club offers scenario-based self-defence training, which is designed to be simple and effective for use in the real world. A large part of each class is dedicated to scenario-based training, where defence against specific attacks or threats is demonstrated and broken down slowly for practise. This approach sets Krav Maga apart from traditional martial arts, as the aim is for students to leave each class with a better understanding of how to defend themselves.
Krav Maga Manchester FEKM is proud to be affiliated with the FEKM, the largest and most respected Krav Maga organisation in the world. The FEKM was created in 1997 by Richard Douieb, who was given the responsibility for Krav Maga in Europe by Imi Lichtenfeld, the founder of Krav Maga. With over 25,000 members across 15 countries, the FEKM provides the club with access to top-notch instruction and resources.
The club offers different membership options to suit individual needs. For those who want to start training right away, full membership provides access to all sessions during the week and the monthly Saturday Masterclass. Membership starts from 40. 00 per month.
Additionally, the club offers an introductory session called “Intro to Krav Maga” where participants can discover three key self-defence skills in just 60 minutes for a price of 10. 00.
