At Krav Maga Global – Darwin, we are not just a gym, but a team and a wider family of locals from all ages and walks of life. Our main instructors, Dannie and Jack, are dedicated to providing quality training sessions. We also have other locals and visiting instructors who help us run regular classes and special occasions.
Krav Maga is a practical and effective system of self-defence that was originally developed for the Israel Defence Force and is now practised worldwide. It is designed around simple, instinctive body movements, making it accessible to everyone. Our classes are taught in a fun and friendly environment, allowing you to learn self-defence skills while getting fit in the process.
We also offer Krav Maga classes specifically for kids and teenagers. These classes have a strong emphasis on teaching self-discipline, determination, honesty, and courage. Unlike most martial arts, Krav Maga focuses on teaching preventive behaviours, avoidance techniques, and situational awareness. Self-defence is always the last resort in Krav Maga.
Kids Krav Maga teaches mindfulness in everyday contexts to engage in correct decision-making. Our classes involve meditation, focus hand-eye coordination drills, games, discipline, team-building skills, and real-world scenario-based self-defence.
Our class timetable offers a variety of options for you to choose from. The Kids Krav class is suited for students aged 6 to 9 years, the Junior Krav class is for students aged 9 to 12 years, and the Teens Krav class is for those over 12 years old. We also have a Women's Only Wednesday session open to all starting from March 24th. With classes held throughout the week, you can easily find a time that suits your schedule.
