The instructors at Kraken Grappling Academy are highly experienced and passionate about martial arts and grappling sports. Simon Dugdale, one of the instructors, has over 25 years of experience in various martial arts disciplines, including Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, and MMA. He is also a Level 4 Sports Therapist and holds qualifications as a Yoga for BJJ instructor.
Stephen Stanley, another instructor at the academy, began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA in 2009. He has competed in both amateur and professional MMA events and has achieved great success in BJJ competitions, including winning the English Open Championships.
Mandy Beardsley serves as the Welfare Officer for the academy, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
