If you already have some surfing experience and just require a board and wetsuit, Kombi Surf offers surf equipment hire at Middleton Beach. We have a range of high-quality surfboards and wetsuits available for hire, carefully maintained to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
The surf hire rates are affordable, starting from $30 for a 4-hour hire, or $50 for a full day. Please note that surf equipment hire is subject to availability, so it's best to make a booking in advance to secure your preferred equipment.

Kombi Surf is an accredited SurfGroms provider, offering surf lessons for kids aged 5 to 12 years old. SurfGroms is a nationally recognised programme designed to introduce children to the joy of surfing in a safe and structured environment.
Led by experienced and qualified instructors, SurfGroms lessons focus on developing essential surfing skills, ocean awareness, and beach safety knowledge. Through fun and engaging activities, kids will learn how to ride waves and develop a lifelong love for the ocean.
At Kombi Surf, safety is our top priority. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced, holding relevant qualifications in surf instruction, CPR, and first aid. We ensure that all participants are provided with the necessary safety equipment, such as wetsuits and appropriate surfboards.
