Kombatkids is a renowned Karate school located in Dudley, New Zealand. Established in 1992 by Steven and Selina Moore, Kombatkids has become one of the leading Karate organisations in the UK. The school offers specialised classes for children aged 4 years and above, as well as adult classes.
At Kombatkids, the instructors are highly dedicated and conscientious. They are all Enhanced DBS Checked and hold a minimum Level 3 English Karate Federation Coach certification. Additionally, they are certified by recognised training providers in First Aid in Sport, Safeguarding, and Child Protection in Martial Arts, Inclusive Activity, and Mental Health Awareness in Sport. This ensures that students receive high-quality instruction in a safe and supportive environment.
Kombatkids is affiliated with several prominent Karate organisations, including the English Karate Federation (EKF), the British Karate Federation (BKF), the World Karate Federation (WKF), and the International Olympic Committee. This affiliation guarantees that the school maintains a high standard of tuition, safety, and opportunities for students of all abilities.
The school also has a strong connexion to Wado Kai England, which is directly affiliated with the Japanese Karate Federation based in Tokyo, Japan. The JKF Wadokai is an internationally renowned Karate organisation with 1350 branches within Japan and 250 groups outside Japan. This affiliation allows Kombatkids students to benefit from the rich traditions and expertise of Japanese Karate.
Kombatkids offers a range of classes to suit different ages and abilities. Whether your child lacks confidence, has been bullied, or has learning difficulties, they will find a welcoming and supportive environment at the school. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes are available throughout six counties: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire.
To make it easier for new students to join, Kombatkids offers three free lessons with no obligation to join. This gives children and their parents an opportunity to experience the teaching style and atmosphere of the school before making a commitment.
