The history of Kobe Osaka International is rooted in the dedication and expertise of its founder, Tommy Morris. With the first black belt awarded for karate in Scotland in 1965, Tommy Morris has been a pioneer in the world of martial arts. Achieving the rank of 8th Dan from the World Karate Federation, Tommy Morris has trained over 100,000 individuals in his system since 1965. His renowned coaching skills have produced numerous Scottish, British, European, and World champions, solidifying his reputation as a top-notch instructor.
Kobe Osaka International is a non-political organization that focuses on spreading the practice and enjoyment of karate-do through international cooperation and friendship, regardless of race or creed. Membership is open to Federations, Clubs, and Karate-ka of National Federations in membership of WKF. The club offers international seminars, training camps, and competitions to promote the spirit of karate-do worldwide.
