Are you the owner of Knowle Football Club?

Knowle Football Club, located in West Midlands, is a historic football club with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1926. Originally known as Knowle Mens Institute, the club has been playing on the grounds at Hampton Road in Knowle since its inception. The land itself has an interesting history, as it was owned by John William Murray of nearby Grimshaw Hall, who placed it into a Trust in 1921 to ensure it would be used for athletic and other sports for the enjoyment of local residents.
Knowle Football Club has had its fair share of success throughout the years. Prior to the outbreak of World War II, the club won two league titles and several prestigious trophies including the Dr Nelson Charity Cup, Henry Butler Cup, and West Bromwich Shield. However, like many other clubs, official league football was temporarily halted during the war. Fortunately, many players returned after the war, along with new recruits, allowing Knowle to rebuild a strong team.
A significant year for the club was 1947, when their clubhouse was built at the Hampton Road pitch. It's worth noting that the players generously donated sheets from their Anderson Shelters for the construction of the clubhouse. This clubhouse continues to serve as a valuable asset to the club and its members.
Currently, Knowle Football Club consists of many men's and junior boys teams, including the Men's First Team, Men's Over 35's Team, and Knowle Sunday Adult Team. The junior boys' section consists of various age groups, from U14 Tigers to U7 Cougars. In addition to the men's and junior boys' teams, the club also has a ladies team and a girls' section, comprising teams such as U18 Raptors and U14 Hawks.
As a community-oriented club, Knowle Football Club has established a strong bond with its sponsors, both for the men's and junior boys' teams, as well as for the ladies and girls' teams. These sponsors provide crucial support to the club, ensuring its continued growth and success.
Knowle Football Club is also highly dedicated to maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the club, and as such, they have implemented various club policies to uphold these values. These policies cover areas such as safeguarding, equality, and player misconduct.
To stay connected with their members and supporters, Knowle Football Club has a dedicated team app and regularly updates their news section. They also provide contact information for those who wish to get in touch with the club, as well as a contact form for specific inquiries.
Ultimately, Knowle Football Club is a historic and community-driven club that prides itself on its rich history, strong teams, and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment. They welcome players of all ages and genders, offering the opportunity to be part of a vibrant and passionate football community in West Midlands.
