Kirkintilloch Bowling Club

Kirkintilloch Bowling Club, also known as the Kirky Bowling Club, is a well-established and thriving lawn bowls club located in Glasgow, Scotland. The club has a rich history and is currently in its 134th season of operation.

At Kirkintilloch Bowling Club, members have access to a high-quality playing surface known as the Green. However, please note that the Green may occasionally be closed for special events or tournaments. The club takes pride in hosting prestigious competitions such as the Bowls Scotland National Finals. Members and visitors can enjoy watching top-level bowling action during these events.

The club also celebrates the achievements of its talented players, such as the Top Ten pool of players who recently made it to the District final by defeating Old Kilpatrick with a score of 6-2. The District final will take place against Condorrat at Kirkintilloch BC.

In addition to competitive bowling, Kirkintilloch Bowling Club offers a range of social and recreational activities. The club has a fully licenced bar and dedicated staff available for events. Members and non-members alike can apply to host private, personal, or corporate functions for up to 60 guests. The club provides full use of the kitchen and catering facilities, a dance floor with a designated DJ area, customised seating arrangements, internal sound systems, and two large screen audiovisual televisions for presentations.

The club also ensures disabled-friendly access and has ample on-street parking available.

However, please note that the club does not accept requests for hosting 18th Birthday Parties. In line with responsible alcohol service, the club maintains a strict “Challenge 25” ID policy, which may require guests to present a valid driving licence or passport to purchase alcohol on the premises.
