Kirkham Juniors Football Club, founded by Brian Jennings and further shaped by Hughie Norris, Peter Woods, Eddie Brettell, and Jock Timms, has been a cornerstone for young football talent in Kirkham, Lancashire since 1972. With a strong legacy of promoting the game, Kirkham Juniors offers structured football for 5 to 18-year-olds, certified as an FA Charter Standard Development Club.
With over 300 members, Kirkham Juniors fields 21 teams from U5's to U18's, fostering both boys' and girls' enthusiasm for football. Emphasising fair play and respect, the club maintains a code of conduct adhered to by coaches, players, parents, and supporters alike.
Home matches are hosted at multiple venues, including Bank Lane in Warton and Coronation Road in Kirkham. The club's mission is to nurture players' skills and ambitions in a supportive and safe setting.
Kirkham Juniors also features an online Club Shop in partnership with Galaxy Football, offering additional gear like rain jackets, tracksuits, and hoodies. Managers and coaches benefit from the Team Kit builder for ordering match and training kits.
Supported by generous sponsors, the club thrives on contributions that propel its success. Led by dedicated volunteers in various roles, including Treasurer, Acting Chair/Safeguarding, and Secretary, Kirkham Juniors ensures compliance with FA rules and smooth operations.
