Welcome to the Karate Club Kio St-Laurent Inc. Located in Saint-Laurent, our club has been in existence since 1971 and has been associated with the Saint-Laurent Borough since 1974. Our mission is to promote the practice and educational values of traditional Shotokan-style karate. Since 2021, we have expanded our program to include the practice of Okinawan kobudo (traditional weapons).
At Kio, we offer training sessions throughout the week, from Monday to Saturday, catering to all levels of experience from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our class schedule is carefully designed to provide a comprehensive training experience for our members, with a focus on discipline, respect, and personal growth.
In addition to regular training sessions, we also host special events and activities for our members, such as karate camps, competitions, and belt testing ceremonies. We are dedicated to helping our members reach their full potential and achieve their personal goals in karate.
