The River Don is renowned for its excellent salmon, sea trout, and wild brown trout fishing. Spanning approximately 5 miles, the river offers a diverse range of water features, including fast-flowing runs, rocky pools, and gentle gliding water with deep holding pools where trout frequently rise to the abundant fly life. The well-maintained banks and sandy-gravel bottom allow for easy access to most pools, making it an ideal location for anglers of all skill levels.
