As we near the 20th edition of the Kingscliff Triathlon, we are continuing our journey with the local community and businesses to build a sustainable valuable event.
There are many exciting changes in Kingy: the new Rowan Robinson Parklands, new bitumen through the village, and replacement of the timber boardwalk beside the creek
While the Kingy Tri has been criticised in the past, these people do not reflect the majority of shops, residents and volunteers who want to welcome you to their wonderful town and beach.
We are encouraged by many of the local shopkeepers and residents optimistic and positive outlook for the event as we look to reset for the next five years.
Thanks to Tweed Shire Council, Councillor Ron Coopers, the Chamber of Commerce, the Resident’s Association who have together helped create 12 development options to implemented over the next 12 months.
