Kilsyth Football Club is thrilled to announce an exciting Juniors Event for the upcoming 2024 season. As a beloved member of the Kilsyth community, the club is ready to showcase its passion for soccer and provide a fantastic opportunity for young players to get involved. From Under 8 to Under 18, both mixed and boys and girls teams will be hitting the field to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
One of the reasons why Kilsyth Football Club has seen such tremendous growth in player numbers over the past 8 years is its commitment to developing talented young footballers while fostering a strong sense of team spirit and community. The club's dedicated coaches bring a wealth of football knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to their teams. They ensure a safe and trustworthy environment for player development, and all coaching staff have attained Level 1 coaching qualifications, as well as possessing valid Working with Children's Check. Additionally, our trainers have completed Level 1 First Aid, including CPR, to prioritise the well-being and safety of our players.
Beyond the sport itself, Kilsyth Football Club takes pride in organising various annual events that allow players, coaches, and families to connect with the wider community. One example is our ANZAC round, where we invite members from the local RSL to meet our talented players and share their inspiring stories. During this round, our Under 15 team wears an ANZAC jumper as a tribute, and each team awards one player with a special medallion symbolising the admirable qualities of the ANZACs. Additionally, we have our 'Pink at Pinks' event, where all players, coaches, and families dress up in pink to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the Breast Cancer Network Association.
When it comes to our home ground, you can find us at the ever-improving Pinks Reserve on Liverpool Road in Kilsyth. Our top oval has recently undergone resurfacing to ensure a safer playing field experience, with updated lighting to enhance the visibility during evening matches. Moreover, brace yourselves for the much-anticipated opening of our new club rooms, coming in time for the 2024 season!
