At Glengormley Sportsbowl, you can expect a thrilling experience in this popular indoor racetrack called Kidz Kartz. It's the perfect place for young kids to unleash their driving skills in a safe and supervised environment. Worried about safety? Don't be! The track is fully enclosed and always under the watchful eye of our dedicated staff.
If your kid is aged 7-11, they can take the wheel and drive the cars themselves. For the younger ones aged 3-6, they will need to have an adult accompanying them during their exciting ride. We have 4 electric cars available, each in a different vibrant colour, allowing children to race against the clock or challenge their friends to a thrilling race.
Each turn on the track will give your child an adrenaline rush for 2 ½ minutes. The best part? Kidz Kartz accepts 2 x £1 coins or tokens, which can be conveniently purchased in advance from our friendly reception team. We have a couple of pricing options to suit everyone's preference. You can choose to pay £2.00 per person for a single play or go all out with £5.00 per person for three supercharged rounds!
Of course, in any exciting activity, there are a few ground rules to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. We kindly ask all participants to wear suitable footwear and clothing. When entering or exiting the track, please use the pit area to keep things orderly. Let's keep the competition fair by avoiding U-turns and bumping into each other. We must also stress that standing on the vehicle while inserting the coin or driving is not permitted. Safety first, folks!
Other rules include no driving through the pit lane or exiting the vehicle while in motion. We want to maintain a safe environment, so please never leave unattended children on the track at any time. Climbing on the barriers is a big no-no, and finally, remember to follow the instructions given by our ever-helpful staff.
