For children aged 3 and up, South Coast Tennis Academy provides comprehensive kids tennis lessons. The Wee Wackers program introduces the basics of balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork, teamwork, and gross motor skills, making it perfect for our littlest learners aged 3-5. This program not only sets the foundation for tennis but also for other sports activities.
The Junior Improvers program, designed for kids aged 5-8, focuses on honing hitting and rallying skills to enhance match skills and boost confidence. Using smaller courts, lower nets, low-compression balls, and smaller rackets, this program maximises the time participants spend on practice and improvement. Kids have the option to choose between 30-minute or 60-minute group lessons.
Our Spin & Smash program is tailor-made for 8-11 year olds who are ready to take their tennis skills to the next level. In this program, participants learn advanced footwork patterns, strokes, and strategies. Defensive and attacking plays are also taught, ensuring a holistic development of their game.
Moving on to our Racket Rockets program, designed for ages 11 and up, participants develop competition readiness skills and improve their overall fitness. Transitioning to a full-size court with competition standard balls, Racket Rockets is suitable for both existing players looking to enhance their game and beginners aiming for a weekend league standard.
For teenagers seeking a fun and social tennis experience without the pressure of serious competition, our Highly Strung program is the perfect fit. Suitable for beginners and intermediate level players, this program allows teens to bond over their love for tennis while honing their skills.
If you're an intermediate level player looking to sharpen your game, our Tennis Titans Squad program is designed just for you. This high-performance group coaching program focuses on increasing game knowledge and advancing technical skills. Participants in the squad learn to harness their maturing strength and develop adult-like techniques and strategies in preparation for local night competitions.
