The Kids & Teens Dance Club at London Dance Studio is the place to be for young dancers aged 6 to 16. Here, they can dive into the world of contemporary dance and learn a variety of ballroom and Latin dances. We're talking Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble.
But it's not just about learning the moves, it's about having a blast while doing it! Our experienced teachers carefully assess each child's abilities and progress, ensuring that they're always challenged and engaged. With a focus on correct technique, posture, and poise, our classes help children build confidence, enhance their abilities, and improve coordination.
The excitement doesn't stop there! Our young dancers have the chance to perform for their families in special performances. They can also take medal tests assessed by the prestigious Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and even participate in dance competitions. Who knows, we may just have some future dance stars in our midst!
Classes are held on Fridays from 5 pm to 6 pm for our “Strictly Kids” aged 6 and our “Strictly Rising Stars” aged 9. Starting from January 13th, 2024, we have classes on Saturdays too. The location is St. Andrews Church, Greyhound Road, London W14 9SA.
Now, let's talk about the cost. We offer great value for money, with class prices based on the number of weeks in the school term. For our 5-year-olds, it's £10 for a 45-minute class, and for our 9-year-olds, it's £12.50 for a full hour. Plus, if you have siblings joining in the fun, we offer a 10% discount. Once your child is signed up, their place in the classes is secured, unless cancelled 4 weeks before the start of the next term.

To ensure our young dancers stay hydrated and comfortable during class, we recommend they bring a bottle of water, a dry t-shirt or top, and a track suit or similar attire to stay warm and change quickly after the class.
