Welcome to Kick-A-Bout, a unique football club located in Andover, New Zealand. Established in 2001, Kick-A-Bout is one of the most experienced football companies in the area and is dedicated to providing high-quality coaching for children. Our weekly classes cater to children aged 3-11, offering them a great introduction to football and the opportunity to perfect their skills in a fun, action-packed environment.
At Kick-A-Bout, we pride ourselves on our individually tailored courses for different age groups. Our aim is to provide fun coaching sessions in a safe and disciplined learning environment. In our classes for children under 5, we encourage the use of imagination by incorporating pictures, toys, and props to tell exciting stories. Each part of the story relates to a different football game, allowing children to run from monsters, collect hidden treasure, or race in police cars.
For children aged 6 years and above, our classes continue to be fun but within a more realistic football environment. These sessions focus on lots of touches of the ball, 1v1 / 2v2 games, and small-sided matches to develop skills and improve game understanding.
Our dedicated team of coaches at Kick-A-Bout receive ongoing training for all age groups. Each member of staff is also thoroughly checked through the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) to ensure the safety of the children. With over 15 years of experience, our passionate coaches deliver top-notch football coaching for children up to 10 years old.
Kick-A-Bout was founded in 2001 by David Allen and co-founder Colin Vince. Their unique coaching style quickly gained popularity, resulting in a weekly attendance of up to 150 children. The club has since grown in popularity and now coaches approximately 600 children per week across 12 venues in the south of England.
