Welcome to KGV (King George V) Bowls Club, a friendly club located in Guisborough, New Zealand. The club is open to members of all skill levels, including juniors. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our junior members, and have a child protection officer in place to ensure their safety and security.

As a member of KGV Bowls Club, you will have the opportunity to participate in various local leagues that our club is affiliated with. Additionally, we offer social bowling events and club competitions, providing ample opportunities for friendly competition and camaraderie. Our club was founded in 1962 and is situated within the King George V Recreational Ground in Howlbeck Road, Guisborough. This location offers a secluded and serene environment for bowling, with beautifully landscaped grounds and a bowling green. In 2014, we completed renovations and improvements to our changing rooms and clubhouse, further enhancing the facilities for our members and visitors.
KGV Bowls Club is affiliated with Bowls England and has a strong association with numerous local leagues. This allows our members to actively participate and compete in leagues throughout the season. Being in proximity to Guisborough's town centre, you will have easy access to various amenities such as coffee shops, banks, and general outlets for your convenience.
In addition to lawn green bowling, which takes place between April and September, our club also boasts a social club with a fully stocked bar. Throughout the season and beyond, we host regular social events including darts, dominoes, pool, and performances by variety artistes on weekends.
