Franco has over 30 years of experience owning and skippering commercial trawlers and potters. In 2006, he decided to switch to charter skippering and has been working in North Wales ever since. McKenzie followed in his father's footsteps, starting as a deckhand and gally boy at the young age of 6.

He quickly developed a passion for fishing and worked his way up to becoming a full-time skipper. He achieved his power boat licences at a young age and has completed all the necessary courses to become a commercial endorsed skipper. Both skippers are avid anglers themselves and are available to advise and provide tuition to both novice and experienced anglers.

Kestrel Warrior is a purpose-built Breaksea 25 charter boat equipped with the latest GPS, sonar, including structure scan 3D sonar, and radar. Thanks to the advanced electronics, the boat is able to locate fish efficiently, providing a great fishing experience. Lady Mary, on the other hand, is a Twin-seas Catermaran with twin outboard engines, offering a fast and stable platform.

With a live bait tank on board, Kestrel Warrior provides fishing rods and reels for hire for all types of boat fishing. They also carry lure roads specifically for bass fishing. The boat is certified by the YDSA and has all the necessary safety provisions for 7 passengers and 1 crew. Powered by a 300hp diesel engine, the boat is regularly maintained and serviced in and out of the water.
