Kensington Taekwon-Do Impact is a prestigious martial arts school located in the heart of London. Offering authentic Taekwon-Do instruction, the school is recognised by the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and ITF England, ensuring the highest standard of training for students.
Led by Chief Instructor Grand Master Donato Nardizzi, who holds a 9th Degree in ITF Taekwon-Do, one of the highest ranks in the world, the instructors at Kensington Taekwon-Do Impact are highly experienced, with some having taught for up to 40 years. Grand Master Nardizzi himself was privileged to be taught by the founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi.
The school offers a range of classes specifically tailored to different age groups and experience levels. The Kids Programme is designed to teach important life skills to children aged 3–7 years old, including fire safety, stranger danger, and bullying awareness. Basic Taekwon-Do techniques are also taught to empower children and help them defend themselves against potential threats. The programme utilises engaging activities, role-playing, and rewards to make learning enjoyable for the young students.
For older children aged 6-7 and above, the school offers a Kids Advanced class that builds on the foundation laid in the Kids Programme. In the Juniors class, students aged 7-12 learn traditional Taekwon-Do format, including kicks, attacks, blocks, self-defence techniques, and sparring. Teenagers and adults aged 13 and above can join the Teens & Adults class, which focuses on intense training exercises to develop strength, endurance, power, and fundamental techniques.
The facilities at Kensington Taekwon-Do Impact are top-notch, with a spacious 300 square metre training hall equipped with tatami matting for added safety and joint strain relief. The hall can comfortably accommodate up to 30 students per class, ensuring a personalised and attentive learning environment. To maintain proper hygiene, the Taekwon-Do mats are regularly cleaned and coated with antibacterial spray, and barefoot training is required. The school also provides toilet facilities, changing rooms, lockers, and disabled toilets for the convenience of its members.
