His extensive background includes various accolades and achievements, such as being a 3rd Dan Black belt Karate degree holder from Kobe Osaka England Association, winning 1st and 2nd place in the Inter style world karate championship, and securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Karate World Cup. He has also been a multiple Hungarian national karate champion and a member of the Hungarian national karate team from 2003 to 2005. His dedication and passion for karate have earned him recognition, such as the Sportsman of the Year award in 2003 in Kazincbarcika, Hungary.
Kensington Karate Club is located at the Kensington Leisure Centre in London. As a member of the Kobe Osaka England Karate Association, the club follows a non-political, non-profit-making approach, focusing on creating a friendly atmosphere for its members. The club is dedicated to spreading the practise and enjoyment of karate through international co-operation and friendship, regardless of race or religion.
The club specialises in the Shito-ryu/Shukokai style of karate, which is a traditional Japanese martial art style. It offers both traditional and Olympic sport karate, being a member of the World Karate Federation (WKF). The sessions at Kensington Karate Club cater to individuals from various age ranges and levels of ability. The training elements of karate covered during these sessions include fitness exercise, kata (forms), kumite (sparring), and self-defence techniques.
The club conducts its training sessions every Friday from 6pm to 7pm in the sports hall of Kensington Leisure Centre. Individuals interested in joining are invited to attend a free introductory training session to determine whether the karate programme fits their needs.
