Andy here from the organising team. He wanted to drop a quick note to you all about Ken Martin Leisure Centre on Hucknall Lane, Bulwell, Nottingham. It's a cracking spot to stay fit and have a bit of fun.
At Ken Martin, the gym is stacked with Technogym gear, so whether you're just starting out or already a gym regular, Andy reckons you'll find what you're after. Plus, the fitness studio runs loads of classes every week, including that top pick, the Wellbeats Virtual Customer Choice class.
If swimming's your thing, they've got you covered with two pools. There's a 25-metre main pool for serious lengths and a leisure/teaching pool for beginners or just a casual dip. Accessibility is sorted with hoists and removable steps.
Need to chill? The Health Suite has a sauna and steam room. Just a heads up, sometimes maintenance might shut them down temporarily, but everything else will be up and running.
Changing rooms are on-site with lockers, showers, baby change units, and even costume spin dryers. Lockers need a small fee, but you can use your Active Nottingham card or wristband too. There's parking and bike racks too for easy access.
Accessibility is a big deal for Ken Martin. They’ve got pool hoists, accessible steps, and changing rooms to make sure everyone can join in.

Memberships are flexible and won’t break the bank. The Fitness+ membership is quite popular, giving unlimited access to the gym, pools, health suite, and over 300 classes weekly across various locations. There are other options as well to suit different needs and budgets.
