“Kazokudai Karate Ltd, Blaby, Leicester” is a traditional Shotokan karate school located in Blaby, Leicester. The club aims to provide a friendly and disciplined environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn and practise the art of karate.
The classes at Kazokudai Karate are structured to be big enough to create a vibrant atmosphere, while still being small enough to cater to specific needs when necessary. The goal is to ensure that everyone feels welcome and receives personalised attention during their training.
The karate programmes at the school are designed to be inclusive for all ages and abilities. They offer adult programmes, children's programmes, ladies-only programmes, and one-to-one programmes. This ensures that everyone can find a class that suits their individual fitness level, goals, and preferences.
In addition to training, Kazokudai Karate offers a club shop where members can purchase exclusive gear. The shop features items such as squad kit pullover hoodies, karate coloured belts, club mitt bags, and club pullover hoodies. This allows students to proudly represent the club while training.
The instructors at Kazokudai Karate are highly experienced and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of karate. The chief instructor, Sensei Bianca Webb, began her karate journey at the age of 7 and obtained her 1st Dan Black Belt at 16. She has since progressed through the ranks, achieving her 4th Dan (JKA) in 2019. Sensei Bianca has a passion for teaching and passing on her knowledge and experience.
She holds various qualifications, including an advanced DBS, first aid training, and child protection/safeguarding certification.
Instructor Senpai Cyra Webb started her karate journey at the age of 6 and gained her Shodan (1st Dan black belt) at 12. She discovered a passion for teaching early on and began assisting with classes and teaching children's classes. Senpai Cyra also excels in competition, having been accepted onto the JKA England Squad at the age of 10.
