Kawartha Quarks is a short track speed skating club based in Peterborough, Ontario, affiliated with the Ontario Speed Skating Association (OSSA). The club's ice time is on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at The Healthy Planet Arena, located at 911 Monaghan Rd, Leon's Pad. The season runs from September 5th to March 23rd, 2024.
The club's mission is to provide a supportive and fun environment for skaters to learn and compete at both regional and provincial levels. The racing season in the East Region typically starts in February with meets in Brockville, Toronto, and Kingston. The Regional Championships are scheduled to take place in Hamilton on Sunday, March 24th, 2024.
